YEAH BABYYYY! The teaser trailer for Marvel's next superhero movie after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol III, The Marvels is out on YouTube already. The film is set to release on 10 November, 2023. This movie will be a sequel to the 2019's Captain Marvel, and will follow the incident that happened at the finale of Ms. Marvel. This movie will also be Marvel's first all female-led movie. This movie will feature Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers), Photon (Monica Rambeau) and Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan).
The teaser trailer was released on 11 April, 2023. It opens with the switching between Kamala, Carol and Monica. We see three of them interchanging places, just like Kamala did with Carol at the end of Ms. Marvel. Kamala switches with Monica, who was exploring some sort of dimensional portal. Nick Fury was also there, and upon seeing this he was confused too. Monica, who got sent to another planet was seen fighting a hoard of aliens. Then we see Carol in Kamala's room, just like at the end of Ms. Marvel.
The scene cuts to Carol and Nick paying Kamala Khan a visit, and there again she "accidentally" switches with Carol Danvers. This time, she gets transported inside some spaceship, and there we also see Goose (the Flerken we saw in Captain Marvel).
Moving ahead, we see all three of them riding a spaceship. We see three of them engaged in action on a planet unknown to us. We also see a bunch of flerkens climbing down the stairs. Now, there was also a man on that planet, played by South Korean actor Park Seo-Joon. I'm not gonna give comic book spoilers here, but I will tell you that he is presumably the king of that planet, which is called Aladna.
During the final moments of the trailer, we can see what can possibly be the main villain of this movie. There were many Kree soldiers too, and among them we can also see Hala the Accuser. The army was led by General Der-Benn. The cosmi-rod can be seen in her hand, along with the mystical cosmic band which we saw in Ms. Marvel. She is seen fighting all three of them at once. Nothing more was revealed further.
The teaser trailer was a pretty decent one if you ask me. I don't get why it has become main stream to hate Marvel, and I don't get just what is everyone expecting from Marvel. This teaser was a good one, which genuinely hyped me up for it. Not a big fan of Marvel's feminine movement, but I guess this movie is gonna be great.
